Bangladesh Beanibazar Social and Cultural Association USA, Inc. is an organization of people of Beanibazar of Bangladesh living in USA. Beanibazar is an Upazila of Divider Sylhet District in the Division of Sylhet, Bangladesh. The people of Beanibazar created the organization in 1987 with a view to protect their regional and national identity as unique for its role in Bangladeshi politics, economy and culture, Beanibazar produced some of the finest sons of the soil who had made immense contributions to the nation’s struggle for independence. Most of the members of Beanibazar Social and Cultural Association USA live in three boroughs of New York City – Queens, Brooklyn and Bronx. The association organizes picnic, Iftar party, celebrity/VIP reception, meeting, cultural events etc for its members.

A purely nonpolitical organization, Beanibazar association is based on unity, trust, discipline and service. It’s flag is designed with white, green and red. There are 11 red stars on a background of white and green. White signifies peace and while green symbolizes the nature. Eleven stars represents 11 unions of Beanibazar. The first and foremost purpose of the association is to help the rising population of Beanibazar get socially established in the USA. Helping the new generations of the expatriates to know and practice Bangalee culture is another priority of the association.

This Society shall operate as a coordinating body of the people from Beanibazar in the USA for nurturing solidarity, cooperation, discipline and fraternity. This Society shall help keep up our past glories and traditions, cementing our cultural bond and fellow feeling through the exchange of mutual thoughts and ideas.
